​Aeronautics & Astronautics Engineering Projects

Plasma Propulsion for Space Debris Mitigation
As part of his doctoral research, Dr. Vereen developed a high-power helicon plasma thruster system for active space debris removal. This work addressed critical sustainability challenges in low Earth orbit and contributed to the development of next-generation electric propulsion systems for long-duration space missions.

Experimental Flow Boiling Research
During his master’s studies, he conducted an experimental investigation on the dynamics of R134a refrigerant under pressurized flow boiling conditions. The research contributed to broader applications in thermal systems, heat transfer, and spacecraft cooling technologies.
